This piece represents connecting to country and drawing upon ancient aboriginal culture, a culture that intuitively raises children in an extended and tight family unit. The symbols and elements in this piece represent women, women in power, women at home, women in birth, women in motherhood, women in life and builds on the strength of women with the village we create around us. Women’s business is a way for women to reconnect through art, story, mindfulness, dance and meditation as well as connecting with our cultural roots and understanding that we are all equal.
