This years NAIDOC theme is For Our Elders.

I created this artwork to tell a story of our history and how our elders truly are the pillars to our thriving culture today. It represents our elders who have paved the way for our generation. Their guidance, knowledge, perseverance and strength has held together our culture for more than 60,000 years. They’ve told stories, sang songs, cared for country and raised communities through hardship, loss and devastation and we wouldn’t be who we are today without their strong will and fighting spirit. So this piece is dedicated to them and our Aboriginal culture that they have preserved so wholly.
